Meet Our Team
Greg, the owner of Hometech, was born in Estes Park, Colorado on the day of the big flash flood in Big Thompson Canyon. Greg purchased the company in 2014 after being an employee for 5 years with a desire to take it to the next level. His mission, along with the entire Hometech team, is to enjoy each moment while being of service. He has a voracious appetite for surfing and travel. He loves his family immensely.
Tom is a seasoned home inspector and a true Floridian who was born and raised in Historic Downtown Sanford. Tom enjoys exploring the crawlspaces of older Florida homes. Tom is a proud father to 4 sons and 6 grandchildren. When he’s not inspecting, he can be found hunting in Georgia with his beloved chocolate lab, Megan. His mom just turned 100 years old and still has her driver’s license!
Jacob is a home inspector who originally hails from Canada. He is an avid explorer of life and graduated UCF in 2010 with an English degree. He is a proud member of InterNACHI and has more than 300 hours of education. He prides himself on his ability to get into those hard-to-get spaces in attics and crawlspaces; he refers to himself as a “Mountain Goat”. When Jacob is not inspecting, he loves to get lost in all the nooks and crannies Florida has to offer.
Melisa is our Client Care Coordinator. She is originally from Dayton, Ohio and has lived most of her life in Central Florida. She has extensive experience in customer service and comes from a background in property management. When Melisa is not keeping the Hometech house in order, she enjoys cooking, DIY projects, and spending time with her family. Everybody in the office loves her contagious laughter and our customers tell us they can feel her warm smile through the phone.

Average inspections take 3 to 4 hours although bigger and older houses can take longer. We do not put time limits on inspections to ensure we provide the best possible service.
How much is the inspection?
Average fees start out at $375 for a base home inspection. Prices are based on square feet, location, and age. It is best to call for a precise quote and appropriate services.
What's included in the inspection?
